Lapis is made up of sodium aluminum silicate with sulfur, chlorine, and hydrant. Has a hardness of 6. 

Lapis is also mixed with pyrite as well as calcite. The color of lapis is typically a deep royal blue with hints of gold which is pyrite and white which would be the calcite.

Where it can be found: Russia, Chile, Hindu, Afghanistan , India

Experience with Lapis

I find using lapis when I need help communicating my emotions correctly. Lapis helps to let you speak the truth and bringing the truth out in others around you. Use Lapis in school or at work to enhance your ability to learn. I have still yet to really use the healing properties of lapis. When I did I found myself thinking about a lot of life situations and emotions that I had forgot about. So I would say it really brings inner truths and emotions to the surface.

When you want to feel a sense of inner peace and calmness Lapis is the stone for that. It is perfect for allowing you to express and communicate your emotions effectively. It helps with the motivation to want to learn and grow. Use lapis to activate the throat chakra and third eye chakra which both help with intuition, and expression. Lapis will help you along your spiritual journey by bringing the inner and outer truths to light.
